Nintendo DS overtakes Sony PS2 lifetime sales in Japan

Over the holiday period, the DS whooshed past the lifetime sales of Sony's PlayStation 2. According to Japanese sales tracker Media Create the DS has sold 20,954,157 units, compared to 20,901,468 PS2s. What is impressive is how quickly Nintendo managed to get to this point. In fact, Sony's console has been on the Japanese market for more than four and a half years.

What impresses me, however, is how parents allow their children to spend their precious time this way. I really think they should try and spend more time with them to educate them and transmit their family values. As parents we do not spend enough time with our children. And it is a good solution to leave our children play with their videogames so they do not make too much fuss around.
For Christmas and a New Year wish, I ask you to spend 1 hour a day with your kids reading a good book!
